Living in True North does call for a Winter Getaway every now and then, and they can be fun!
There are some great places to visit around this time of the year in Canada and they all offer a variety of activities depending on your preference. Personally I find winter getaways extremely charming and cozy and love to re-wind and relax at a Winter Wonderland every now and then. What I love the most about them, beside all the snow, are the walks or hikes in the snow, the pampering at the spa and best of all the quite and cozy nights in front of the fireplace.

With years of travelling under my belt and tons of trials and errors when it comes to the packing department I wanted to share my packing tips for a Winter Getaway with you. I used to struggle a lot with packing to any trip in the past and always packed way too much! Sounds familiar? Well you are not the only and why I decided to create this post so you can travel in style and have all the pieces you need to look fabulous!
Whenever you are packing to any trip, a great starting point is to on a piece of paper write down the number of days you will be away and the planned activities, and now with a plan/list on hand, you can start packing. When it comes to packing to any travel, always pack pieces that can be easily mixed & matched, so you carry less pieces but able to create more outfit options with them, pretty simple right?
The packing list I have put together here is intended for a 3 days 2 nights Winter Getaway to a charming city or a cozy spa retreat.
