It is still pretty cold up here in True North, but sooner or later Spring weather will be upon us and with that, the need for season appropriate clothes. Spring is one of the trickiest seasons to dress for with the weather being so diverse from morning to night making Spring days highly unpredictable.
I find Spring to be one of the most enjoyable seasons to shop for and every year look forward to pack away my winter clothes and bring out the lighter Spring and summer clothes. Of course, once all the Spring clothes are out, the shopping urge kicks in. But of course, after years of ‘shopping experience’ I have learnt to control such urges and now shop my seasonal clothes with a lot of care and a plan!
Majority of my seasonal must haves are timeless classics, which I replace every 3 to 5 years depending on its condition and my size of course, completed with a handful of seasonal trend items for that added flare.

The key trend for this Spring is ultra pretty and feminine with deep influences from romanticism reflected in the sheer flowy fabrics, pretty florals, delicate lace and muted dusty pastels with pale and dusty pink being the colour of the season.
Every Spring I do tend to lean towards my favourite classic pieces, and this year was no different. Timeless classics are key staple pieces in every closet allowing you to create effortless elegance with ease. Having a good foundation makes building stylish outfits a breeze and with a touch of fun and trendy accessories you are walking in style!
